As Regional Sales Manager, you will maintain contacts with existing and new relations (agents, consultants, licensors, contractors and key end-users) in the process industry and convince them of Duiker’s USPs. Your playing field is a specific set of countries (areas) of our globe, small localised and/or major global players, who engineer, procure, build and own high capital intensive installations . You sell critical thermal process solutions and the associated installations for the sulphur recovery process.
Projects range from conceptual feasibility studies to equipment related supplies for infrastructural and large industrial plants with aftercare and supply contracts, all characterised by a longer-term focus, (technological) risk management due to the capital-intensity of the plants, maximum safety and impact on society. Our advice on possible improvements to meet tomorrow’s emission requirements is mostly valued.
The Marketing & Sales team, in which the commercial aspects of business development of the company are clustered, identifies, qualifies & quantifies business opportunities in the broader sense, compose them into attractive technical and commercial value propositions that we aim to eventually convert into successful projects.
In your role you act as the hands-on Sales professional from within the organisation enquiries aimed at maintaining partnerships for potential existing business and product propositions which, based on the chosen strategy, strengthen the ambition and mission of the organisation. The commercial aspect compromises of presenting our desulphurisation business propositions towards external parties, draw up quotations, clarify the propositions and assess its alignment with the customers requisitions and objectives, conduct negotiations and conclude contracts for the existing product portfolio of our company.
Your ability to further expand the current offering into the Sulphur Solutions segment will add to the success and future of the organisation, while contributing to a greener planet.
After 1 year, you will have visited all important customers and attended 2 trade fairs in your region. From all these talks and thorough market research, you will draw up a clear regional sales plan. As a result, you are at the negotiating table for three projects, you have successfully concluded 1 contract and appointed new agents. This is how you contribute to Duikers’ ambition.
